While the Anti-Trump Mandarins of the Commentariat (ATMC, for short) are busy untwisting their knickers after the President’s historic summit meeting with the Tubby Tyrant of North Korea, I have an important real-estate tip to pass along: beach-front property in North Korea. Keep your eye on it. As Trump said yesterday in his wide-ranging press conference following his meeting with Kim Jong-un, that stretch of land between China and South Korea would be an ideal spot for luxury hotels and condos, if only Kim would stop shooting off cannons there.

[snip] What we saw yesterday was a calm, confident, and articulate man who answered a battery of questions as clearly as the process that he just initiated allowed and who, moreover, was quietly and appropriately amusing as well. He also used the subjunctive correctly. And remember that he hadn’t slept in twenty-four hours. It was a sprightly and reassuring diplomatic performance — no, that’s too restrained: it was an amazing performance.

They so committed themselves to telling us about his imminent failure that the public will see them for the idiots they are if he succeeds.

Whatever happened to the “no nukes” slogan from the dimoKKKRAT party?

Cohen, now with no legal representation, is likely to cooperate with federal prosecutors in New York, sources said. This development, which is believed to be imminent, will likely hit the White House, family members, staffers and counsels hard.

It stopped being important immediately upon Trump solving the problem, coincidence you ask?

Greedy entertainment industry moguls who own CNN etc and who are happy to sell out this country for overseas sales? Nevermind that without this country kleptocracies take over and confiscate everything??

Why does the commentariat so despise Trump’s success?

Because Trump shows how worthless their decades of punditry is and was.

But you’d think that the Left, which is always going on about the importance of dialogue, would champion Donald Trump’s efforts. They don’t, partly because they despise the messenger, partly because his success only underscores their own irrelevance.

One early ploy tried – I believe it was by Jake Tapper – was that other Presidents “could have done the same thing but chose not to.” We didn’t hear much of that after the obvious and nearly unanimous reply, “and why not?” The answer we were offered was as lame as it comes: “Because it would have made him look equal to the United States,” as if the frequency of a country’s flags on the podium makes the slightest significant difference in the calculus of nuclear destruction.

Yes, the U.S. media look disgraceful on this and deservedly so. Apparently they don’t care. Or, full of self-importance and a bloated illusion of their own power, they are no longer even capable of knowing.

The democrats were never sincere with the “no nukes” chant. That was to take nukes from the USA, so that it would be conquered by communists and cease to be a free market economy.

The left knows that Clinton and Obama failed miserably with North Korea and the Iran deal has been flushed down the toilet. Besides, any common enemy to America is a friend of the left. That is how sick they are.

To answer both I would say: Because they can.

A friend and I were talking about this today. We agreed that the powers that be can not allow a non politician to solve some of our problems. That would show just how worthless they have been. Bless their hearts. They would rather see this country fail than to allow success. I got an email from a demon, (was reading over this and noticed what I spelled but think I will leave it,). from another state wanting donations for this candidate to beat the Republican. I have no idea why I am getting junk from this guy in a state near the Canadian border. I told him that the dems are anti beliefs that we hold dear like a strong military, strong borders, no illegal immigrants, etc. I wonder if I will quit getting junk from him like a few others.
