I’m A Celebrity 2017: How much do the campmates get paid and what does the winner get?

They are running the gauntlet in the Australian jungle for three weeks – and the pay packets of the celebs taking part in I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! have been revealed.

According to insiders wages for the campmates on the ITV1 reality show vary from between £25,000 to £400,000.

Bolton boxing champ Amir Khan is reportedly raking in the region of £400,000, making him the best paid celeb in the show’s history, reports our sister paper the Mirror.

Bubbly Coronation Street favourite Jennie McAlpine from Bury is reportedly the next best paid with £250,000, followed by Boris Johnson’s father Stanley who will bring in £200,000 for his time in the camp.

Hollyoaks hunk Jamie Lomas from Salford and The Saturdays singer Vanessa White are thought to be on £125,000 each and Rebekah Vardy and Georgia Toffolo are expected to be earning £100,000 region.

And former footballer Dennis Wise and comedian Shappi Khorasandi are thought to be on £25,000.

For the eventual winner there’s no extra cash prize but they usually go on to secure big gigs afterwards.

Last year’s queen of the jungle Scarlett Moffatt is now presenting the Extra Camp show on ITV2 and has also joined I’m A Celebrity stars Ant and Dec as a presenter on their other hit show Saturday Night Takeaway.
